Keep on truckin'

So FCB did just fine without Samuel Eto'o at the weekend, winning 2-0 against Alaves and maintaining their 10 point advantage over both Valencia and Osasuna and making it an incredible 18 wins in a row. Eto'o meanwhile has scored 4 goals in two games (inc. a hatrick in the opener against Angola).

Tonights game against Saragossa (Sky Sports 1, 7.30pm) in the Copa sees both Puyol and Giuly rested (the squad for the game is listed here). It's a well earned break for Puyol whos run of 35 straight matches came to an end when he came off after 85 mins on Sunday. Expect both to be back for the league match against Mallorca on Sunday (Sky Sports 1,

Oh, it's worth mentioning that Maxi Lopez got his first run out of the season on Sunday, he came on in the 85th minute for Giuly and recieved a fantastic reception from the Camp Nou. With the transfer window almost closed it would seem that he's staying at Barca, at least until the summer. Good for him.
